Shiela Gomez

 

Shiela discovered her passion for hair styling when she was only 17 and sought a position within the prestigious traditional European David's Salon in the Philippines. She learned the ropes from the ground up, learning the intricate details and subtle nuances of European hairstyling combined with Asian techniques.

While in the Philippines, Cosmopolitan magazine featured Shiela and soon landed a TV spot on the popular Philippiines TV show Good Finds. In 2005, Azta Urban Salon eagerly snapped up Shiela and she rapidly became their top-grossing Senior Stylist and Senior Technical Educator.

Upon emigrating to the United States, she set her sights on being a Master Stylist in Weston, FL and quickly began collaborating with De Fabulous as their texture specialist. She is their educator for Japanese Straightening and Kerafusion treatments. Shiela's mission is to share different techniques where breaking the norm and pioneering new trends is essential for today's Hair Artists.
